Yes, ZisuGen is completely free for all Sri Lankan students. This includes the AI Tutor, digital library, and all ecosystem features. It's funded as a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative by SoftGen.

How does the AI Tutor work?

The AI Tutor uses advanced language models to answer your academic questions 24/7. You can ask questions in Sinhala, Tamil, or English, and receive instant, curriculum-aligned explanations for subjects from Grade 5 to A/L.

How can I donate books to students?

Simply create an account on ZisuGen and use the Smart Matching feature. Our AI will connect you with students who need the specific textbooks you want to donate. You can arrange delivery directly with the student.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ZisuGen (the "Service"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform. These terms apply to all visitors, users (Students, Teachers), and others who access the Service.

2. Accounts and Registration

Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
Security: You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party.
Minors: If you are a student under the age of 18, you represent that you have obtained your parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to use the Service. We collect guardian details for this purpose.

3. Rules for Teachers

Verification: Teacher profiles will strictly remain in a "Pending" state until manually verified and approved by the ZisuGen administration. We reserve the right to reject any application without providing a specific reason.
Content Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content, materials, and classes you create. You affirm that you have the right to share such content.
Independent Status: Teachers are independent service providers and not employees of Softgen Technologies. You are responsible for your own tax declarations and earnings reporting.

4. Payments and Refunds (Important Disclaimer)

ZisuGen operates as a facilitator for education management, not a financial intermediary for class fees.

Student-to-Teacher Payments: Students upload bank transfer slips to verify payments for classes. These funds are transferred directly to the Teacher's bank account. ZisuGen does not hold, process, or manage these funds.
Refunds: Any dispute regarding class fees, refunds, or cancellations must be resolved directly between the Student and the Teacher. ZisuGen is not liable for any financial loss incurred during these transactions.
Platform Subscription: Teachers agree to pay the monthly subscription fee to ZisuGen to maintain access to the platform's features.

5. User Conduct and Content Guidelines

ZisuGen is strictly an educational platform.

Prohibited Content: You may not post violent, nude, partially nude, discriminatory, unlawful, infringing, hateful, pornographic, or sexually suggestive content.
Zero Tolerance: We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment. Any user found sharing other students' personal data, bullying, or engaging in non-educational chats will be immediately banned without notice.
Feed Posts: All posts in the public feed must be educational. Marketing spam or irrelevant content will be removed.

6. Intellectual Property

Platform Rights: The ZisuGen code, design, and branding are the intellectual property of Softgen Technologies.
User Content: Teachers retain ownership of the educational materials they upload but grant ZisuGen a license to display them to enrolled students.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time or location.
